Hyceon was created by bringing together two practices that grew up with the European data centre industry itself.

In Frankfurt, TTSP HWP was established in 1990 and grew into Germany’s leading data centre general planner, entering the sector in 2007, dedicating itself exclusively to data centres, and building an interface-free, full-service model spanning architecture, engineering, permitting, sustainability and project management through its specialist companies. Its work includes milestones such as the Citigroup data centre in Frankfurt — LEED Platinum certified, at the time unique worldwide for a data centre — and campuses across Germany’s data centre heartland.

In Dublin, MCA Architects, founded in 1988, evolved from one of Ireland’s most established architectural practices into a trusted design partner for the world’s largest technology companies. Over more than fifteen years of hyperscale and colocation experience, the practice has designed more than seven million square feet of data centres, delivered 2.6 gigawatts of critical IT load and master planned 130 hectares of campuses across Ireland, the UK, the Nordics, Germany, France and Spain.

Together, we are one integrated pan-European group, bringing together more than 270 data centre specialists across five European cities and over 70 years of combined practice heritage. Our teams have assessed, designed and delivered more than 10 gigawatts of data centre projects and secured hundreds of permits across Europe. By combining Irish and German engineering cultures with deep local market knowledge, Hyceon provides one accountable partner across every stage of delivery, from initial site evaluation through to operational handover.

Who we are

    Our Core Values

Innovation

We are not just building for today — we are shaping the future. We are actively driving the energy and digital revolutions by developing new technologies and sustainable methods that set the standard in our industry.

How we work

One partner, every stage of delivery – from the first site visit to the day the facility goes live.

Eight cities.

Every European market.

From offices in seven European cities and Kuala Lumpur we deliver across Ireland, the UK, Germany and wider Europe — including the Nordics, Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Teams work in the local language and regulatory instruments of each market, and run to one group standard.

Why Hyceon?

Our symbol is six circles arranged as a lowercase “h” — one for each principle that underpins world-class data centre design: Reliability, Scalability, Efficiency, Security, Flexibility and Sustainability. Set against a larger blue circle, it carries our commitment to the Blue Future: resilient, high-performance digital infrastructure that treads more lightly on the planet that hosts it.
