Client Challenge
The client required a large-scale hyperscale data center campus capable of supporting long-term growth while meeting demanding performance, resilience, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. The project also needed to accommodate future technology advancements while maximizing operational efficiency across the campus.
Hyceon’s Solution
Hyceon designed the campus and led the planning and permitting process for an up to six-building hyperscale data center campus with a total planned IT capacity of approximately 144 MW. The campus was engineered to deliver a highly efficient, scalable, and concurrently maintainable environment that supports both current operational requirements and future technology needs.
The design incorporates high-efficiency cooling systems with provisions for direct liquid cooling, low-impact materials, flood-resilient infrastructure, and energy monitoring to support renewable energy integration and operational efficiency.
Sustainability considerations were embedded throughout the project, with the design targeting LEED Silver certification and a defined pathway toward LEED Gold while meeting all applicable planning and environmental requirements.
