Client Challenge
The client required a hyperscale data center campus capable of delivering highly resilient, secure, and energy-efficient digital infrastructure while meeting stringent operational and regulatory requirements.
Hyceon’s Solution
Hyceon designed and permitted a hyperscale data center campus in Wustermark, Germany, with a dedicated on-site substation providing direct access to the 380 kV transmission grid to ensure a reliable and resilient power supply.
Designed in accordance with Uptime Institute Tier III principles, the campus incorporates N+1 electrical redundancy, uninterruptible power supply systems, emergency power generation, and a comprehensive five-zone security strategy.
Hyceon also managed the permitting process, including the required BImSchG approvals, while delivering a design focused on operational resilience, energy efficiency, long-term reliability, and minimizing environmental impact.
