Client Challenge
Accenture’s ambition was to create a global headquarters for its innovation and R&D activities: a highly flexible workplace for software developers, IoT, artificial intelligence and robotics experts that would also showcase innovation to clients and provide executive facilities for the company’s leadership.
Hyceon’s Solution
Hyc eon developed a workplace that could adapt to these different users and functions while reflecting the character of Dublin’s Docklands. Custom ceiling-mounted service rafts with retractable power and data free the floorplates from fixed infrastructure, allowing movable furniture to support changing team structures and activities. Automated partitions provide similar flexibility across larger meeting and workshop spaces.rnrnTechnology is integrated throughout the workplace experience. Large LED installations provide dynamic digital content, while more than 10,000 sensors connect to a platform through which employees can monitor and control their environment. Reclaimed timber, container-inspired structures and industrial references root the design in its Docklands setting, creating a headquarters where the workplace itself becomes an expression of Accenture’s innovation culture.
