Client Challenge
An Post sought to create a transformative new headquarters that would support a more flexible and agile way of working, strengthen collaboration and innovation, and place employee health and wellbeing at the centre of the workplace experience. Evolving working practices during the design period added another layer of complexity to the brief.
Hyceon’s Solution
Hyceon developed a workplace response around choice, flexibility and connection. Typical floors give employees access to daylight, planting and a range of working environments, with collaborative spaces overlooking the Liffey, quieter focus areas towards Point Square and adaptable central zones supporting different ways of working.rnrnThe design also responds directly to the EXO’s distinctive exposed steel structure, integrating key structural elements into the interior architecture and creating a strong connection between the building and workplace within. Technology, including remote desk booking and data-led feedback, complements the spatial design, creating an adaptable headquarters that brings people together while responding to changing patterns of work.
