Engineering Design

Ireland

Data centres are among the most exciting building projects of our time. They are the backbone of the digital world and demand the highest standards in architecture, functionality and sustainability.

At Hyceon, you’ll work in multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects for international clients. We combine innovative architecture with modern planning approaches such as BIM, Lean and Scrum, creating an environment where collaboration, ownership and continuous development are part of everyday work.

This is how you'll make an impact

  • In this role, you create and develop precise 3D models for heating, ventilation, sanitation and cooling in Revit and reliably implement project-specific BIM requirements.
  • Working closely with the team, you derive layouts, schematics and detailed drawings from the models, presenting technical relationships clearly and in a buildable form.
  • With a strong sense of ownership, you coordinate your models with other disciplines, carry out clash detection and resolve interfaces together with project stakeholders.
  • Using LiNear, you perform heating load, cooling, air and pipe sizing calculations and integrate the results transparently into the Revit model.
  • Throughout the project, you maintain component information, parameters and attributes, making an important contribution to high model and data quality.

This is what sets you apart

  • Completed vocational training as a Technical Systems Designer specialising in building services engineering, or a comparable qualification, provides your professional foundation.
  • From a technical perspective, you are confident using CAD and design software; experience with Revit, AutoCAD and LiNear is particularly welcome.
  • Drawing on your experience, you have sound knowledge of heating, ventilation, sanitation and cooling technology as well as relevant standards and regulations.
  • As a collaborative team member, you combine strong spatial awareness and technical understanding with a structured, process-oriented approach.
  • When working with project stakeholders, you work independently and collaboratively, communicate confidently in German and have basic English skills.

What you can look forward to

  • Flexible working: You have the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. This allows you to combine focused work away from the office with personal interaction on site.
  • Well supported and sustainably mobile: You receive a 15% employer contribution to your company pension scheme, a subsidy towards the Deutschlandticket and the option to lease a company bike through JobRad. In addition, Viva FamilienService (www.viva-familienservice.de) helps you balance your professional and personal life.
  • More shared experiences: Whether it is our three-day company retreat, team events or shared activities, we value a strong sense of community and celebrate our successes beyond the office as well.
  • Room to grow: We invest in your future and offer you at least two professional or personal development opportunities each year, helping you continue to grow and develop.
